
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released a photo of an alleged gunman wanted for killing a man in a Bronx drive-by shooting from August.
At approximately 6:25 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, a 47-year-old man was in front of 1800 Sedgwick Ave. in Morris Heights when the gunman pulled up on a two-wheeled scooter and discharged a firearm striking him in the head authorities said.
The suspect then fled on the scooter in an unknown direction.
EMS transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The individual is described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black head scarf and black t-shirt.
