How close are the Falcons at competing for the 2026 Super Bowl? Las Vegas odds makers currently have the Falcons at 60-1 to win next year’s big game. Is this a good value? The Washington Commanders’ odds at winning Super Bowl LIX were far greater, and they made it to the NFC Championship game.

Taking this bet would not have not paid off, obviously, but the Falcons have a similarly constructed team as the Commanders did before the 2024 season, and they still have a draft to go. If the Falcons concentrate on defense in the draft, they may start the season with a better defense than the Commanders started last season with. The Falcons already have their quarterback, which is the most important piece. Maybe if Michael Penix Jr starts the 2024 season as QB1 for the Falcons, they make a Washington Commanders-like run last season, but that we will never know. Andy Bunker and Abe Gordon explore the many ways that the Falcons can enter the 2025 NFL season as Super Bowl contenders.
