As the Major League Baseball season is roughly a quarter of the way done and the Atlanta Braves find themselves six back of the first place, Philadelphia Phillies. On Friday, Steak Shapiro and Sandra Golden discussed the Braves series win over the Cubs after they defeated them 3-0 on Thursday and shared their thoughts on whether or not, there should be concerns about if Atlanta would still be able to make up ground on the Phillies and win the division.

"I hate to do this to you Braves' fans, but the word in baseball is you really shouldn't look at the standings or other teams until Memorial Day, well don't look now, but we're at Memorial Day Weekend," Golden said as she broke down the Phillies record, yet added that with the injuries the Braves have dealt in addition to some of their struggles at the plate, for Atlanta just be six games back of the Phillies, "is amazing," Golden said.

In response to Golden's comments, Shapiro noted that he believes that fans ultimately have nothing to worry about at this time and that they should not "get caught up in winning the division" or look for the Braves to have "a legendary regular season," despite how well the Phillies are currently playing. "We're not even into June yet," Shapiro added. Click link above to hear their conversation in its entirety:
