Schefter: Eagles 'not trading Brown,' but could look to acquire veteran players

“Contrary to internet speculation, the Eagles are not trading AJ Brown," Adam Schefter writes for ESPN.com in his latest 2025 NFL draft notes, intel story.

The Eagles, who own 20 combined draft picks in 2025 and 2026, are in a better position to make trades than any other NFL team, Schefter is reporting.

The Eagles trying to acquire available veterans during the draft is "a certain possibility." Schefter says Philadelphia trying to trade up in the draft is also possible, but "less likely."

The Eagles have the 32nd overall pick in the first round after winning the Super Bowl.

Here are the Eagles' 2025 draft picks:

Round 1, Pick 32
Round 2, Pick 64
Round 3, Pick 96
Round 4, Pick 134
Round 5, Pick 161 (from Houston)
Round 5, Pick 164 (from Cleveland)
Round 5, Pick 165 (from Washington)
Round 5, Pick 168
