An incident on I85 that shut down I85 Thursday afternoon has now been confirmed as a bomb threat. The incident began around 4PM, Thursday when Transport police pulled over an 18 wheeler.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office confirmed that SWAT and Bomb Squad personnel were on the scene as of 6PM, Thursday . FITS News is reporting that the suspect is in custody after the incident.
We have reached out to the Sheriff's Office for confirmation on whether a suspect is in custody, they have not responded to that question, as of the time of this report.
