Three Upstate Deputies have been honored for their heroic efforts. Three Anderson County Deputies pulled a 3 year old boy from a burning car after a crash just over the Georgia state line.
Deputies say Joshua Dornellas kidnapped his son and then ran from the scene leaving the boy inside the car as it burned.
Sergeants Hunter Ruff, Stephen Earwood and Danny McCown were all awarded the medal of valor for their heroic actions.
