A British supermarket recently launched a chicken nugget into space for its 50th anniversary.
Iceland Foods LTD. aka Iceland, sent a chicken nugget into outer space to celebrate their 50 years of being a company.
They released a video to show the public what went down.
A company called Sent Into Space launched the chicken nugget. Sent into space is the "world's leading space marketing company, specialising in space-themed marketing campaigns and publicity stunts."
"From a site in rural Wales, the nugget traveled through the Earth's atmosphere to an altitude of 110,000 feet (that's 20.7 miles) where it floated in the region known as Near Space," Sent Into Space wrote on its website.
It took an hour for the little nugget to make it's way into the region between our atmosphere and outer space.
