Yesterday I shared the story about a epidemic of people falling asleep on the roads across Japan while drunk.

You thought that was weird? Well, check this story out...

There has recently been a number of transparent see-thru public restrooms installed in parks across Tokyo.

Popular architects designed these toilets made out of smart glass that turns opaque when the restrooms are being occupied.

The restrooms opened in five different locations across Tokyo as part of the 'Tokyo Toilet Project'.

The architects compared the see-thru restrooms as a “curious piece of playground equipment” and added,“At night they light up the parks like a beautiful lantern."

As soon as a person locks the restroom door, the walls turn opaque.

These see-thru public restrooms are somewhat fancy as well. They all come with washing and drying modes, seat warming, and lids that open and close automatically.

They are planning on installing more off these transparent bathrooms in 17 locations across Shibuya within the next year.
