A neighborhood in Carrollton is a little on edge after doorbell cameras captured a stranger wearing a satanic mask going from door to door and ringing doorbells, only to hold up a sign with an apocalyptic Bible verse written on it.
The sign read "Revelation 20:1–15,” which depicts the apocalypse and eternal judgment, includes imagery of followers ascending to heaven while the condemned are cast into a lake of fire.
Resident Scott Geairn watched the footage on Nextdoor, as was just as confused as everyone else who watched the clip. "When I saw that, I was like, uhh, what's the message here?" Geairn told WFAA. "It's so weird," he added.
The homeowners filed a police report, but as the stranger committed no crime there’s nothing really then police can do.
They are still monitoring the situation though, and encouraging residents to "remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity."
