Mavs fans did not take the Luka trade too well over the weekend.

After waking up to the news Sunday morning, fans flocked to the AAC and set up a “memorial” of some sort for Luka, complete with some of his jerseys, notes from fans, and a full-fledged coffin.

A few Mavs fans carried a blue coffin to the front of the AAC while playing the song “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth.

After dropping the coffin, one fans dropped to his knees screaming “Whyyyy,” a question we’ve all been asking ourselves over the last couple of days.

Sunday afternoon, Luka posted a farewell message to Mavs fans online, writing “Dallas is a special place, and Mavs fans are special fans.”
