ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Senator Josh Hawley and the entire Missouri Congressional delegation have sent a letter to United States Postal Service Inspector General Tammy Hull requesting an audit of the St. Louis region mail network.

Almost a year ago, Hawley requested an audit, which was never done. Last month Postmaster General Louis DeJoy resigned.

Hawley opposed DeJoy's plan that called for reducing mail service to rural areas.

Hawley's letter says since last year, mail service has not improved. He wants a response from U-S-P-S Inspector General by April 15th.
