U.S. Senator from Kansas Dr. Roger Marshall tells KNSS News, Kansas farm crops need more water. Marshall says "you never have enough rain in Kansas." However he acknowledges "we've had a good average winter," but rainfall has been "spotty."
Marshall's been traveling the state, talking with people about their concerns. He is trying to visit 20 Kansas counties this week. The Senator says a big problem he sees is 70,000 young men in Kansas out of work. Dr. Marshall says the state needs to help men get the education and training they need to get back to work.
