TJ Kelley & Megan Robison say the owners of a Costa Mesa house moved out and left behind approximately 24 cats.

The two concerned animal lovers told KNX News reporter Emily Valdez they want to help the cats find new homes.

Kelley said they would drive to nearly any location across California willing to rehouse the cats.

Through a gofundme page they've raised more than five thousand dollars for vet care and said in an update on the page, "We are in desperate need of finding a place for these cats to live after they have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated."

The duo said they believed they are down to the last five or six cats left to be caught - anyone who is able to adopt one of the cats can contact them here.
