Thousands of Dodgers fans flocked to downtown Los Angeles on Friday morning for the World Series champions’ victory parade.
Fans went wild when double-decker buses carrying the team rolled up between City Hall and Grand Park around 11 a.m. The players and their families (including Shohei Ohtani’s dog, Decoy) greeted the crowd from the bus’ top level.

“It's just so cool seeing, like, our heroes basically, like it's awesome,” one woman told KNX News’ Jon Baird.
Mayor Karen Bass tried to speak to the crowd from aboard one of the buses, but she was barely audible over the cheering crowd.
The buses were showered with blue and white streamers as they pulled away from City Hall to begin the 45-minute procession to Dodger Stadium, where a special ticketed event was scheduled to begin at 12:15.
While fans waited for the players to arrive, the packed stadium sang happy birthday to the late Dodgers legend Fernando Valenzuela, who would have turned 64 today.
“The energy in the stadium is so high, especially since it’s his birthday, and I know that a lot of players dedicated the win to him and to Vin Scully,” a fan told KNX News’ Nataly Tavidian.
