Blame the Coronavirus. There will be no Spring Break for the Mean Green in 2021.
University of North Texas President Neal Smatresk made the announcement yesterday, saying the annual Spring break "involves crowded public transportation, airports and vacation spots, all of which dramatically increase risk during a global pandemic."
The University's Spring semester begins January 18, 2021 and will finish up a week early on April 22nd. Finals for UNT students conclude on May 1st.
