A man was killed and a woman was severely burned in a fire at a mobile home in Pomona and an investigation of the fire is underway Wednesday.

Officers from the Pomona Police Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department received multiple 911 calls regarding a fire at a mobile home at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday at 1761 E. Mission Blvd, Fox 11 reported. When firefighters arrived a the scene, they encountered heavy flames coming from a mobile home to the rear of the complex with the fire spreading to other mobile homes.
During a search of the burned mobile unit, firefighters found two victims who were possibly trapped inside the mobile home, according to reports from the scene.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Fox 11 reported.
The woman was taken to Pomona Valley Hospital with burns to her face and hands in an unknown condition
