Throughout his career, Justin Bieber has been nominated for 22 GRAMMYs, with 8 nominations just this year alone. However, despite being a GRAMMY vet, thus far he’s only won twice.

As some might recall, Justin was nominated for Best New Artist at the GRAMMYs a little more than a decade ago. A win many “beliebed” to be a sure thing, was met with disappointment to Beliebers when he lost out to jazz musician Esperanza Spalding, in one of the most surprising upsets in the ceremony’s history. But that’s all in the past.

Currently nominated for Album of the Year — for the deluxe edition of Justice, Best — Music Video, Pop Duo/Group Performance, Pop Vocal Album, Pop Solo Performance, and R&B Performance. As well as Record and Song of the Year for his No. 1 hit “Peaches.” Bieber’s odds are definitely in his favor, as one of the most nominated artists of the night.

That being said, number of times he’s been and currently is nominated aside, here’s why we think the Biebs should come out on top this year, and finally land a big four GRAMMY.

The album debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart in its first week, as Justice became Bieber's eight number one album on the chart. The single “Peaches,” up for consideration as well, also debuted at number one that same week, making Bieber the first solo male artist to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts simultaneously. But statistics aside, Justin’s vocals on Justice have never been stronger. And with its multiple hits and arguably widest range of sounds and styles among the nominees, it should stand up a legitimate threat to win.

Finding itself a sweet balance, Justice offers contrast with songs that span from Pop to R&B. From the melancholy “Lonely”, to the Dominic Fike assisted stadium jaunt “Die for You,” the synth-pop single “Hold On” featuring The Kid LAROI, and obviously the smash hit single “Peaches” with Giveon and Daniel Caesar. Which btw also reminds us, all the featured artists on this album are fire.

Not to mention the extensive, but smartly assembled, selection of A-list producer/co-writers that includes Andrew Watt, Skrillex, the Monsterz & Strangers, Louis Bell, Benny Blanco, FINNEAS and honestly too many more to mention. Equaling just one more reason Justice should be much more than just in the running — it should come out on top.

The 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards happen live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3, featuring performances from Olivia Rodrigo, BTSBillie Eilish and more. Stay with Audacy for more exclusive coverage of music's biggest night at audacy.com/grammys.
