Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond’s new riverfront music venue next to Brown’s Island will be known as the “Alianz Ampitheater at Riverfront,” officials said Tuesday.
The venue is expected to host 30 shows each season, accommodate 7,500 guests, and create around 300 jobs each year.
Construction got underway earlier this year, and developers are optimistic that the project will be completed by summer 2025.
“We feel like the acoustics are going to be awesome," Matt Rogers, with Live Nation, said about the venue during a media tour on Tuesday.
Rogers said ticket prices will start as low as $20, offering a “very affordable option for families and music lovers [in] the city.”
