The Cleveland National Air Show presented by Discount Drug Mart will celebrate 60 years with historic military demonstrations including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II, and U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II on Labor Day Weekend (August 31 & September 1, 2) at Burke Lakefront Airport.
Headlining this year’s show is the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Jet Demonstration Team. Each show day the six "Blues" pilots will blaze across the skies in their F/A-18 Super Hornets flying as close as 18 inches apart. The Blue Angels flight demonstration includes the graceful aerobatic maneuvers of the four-plane Diamond Formation, high energy opposing solo maneuvers and the renowned, six-jet Delta Formation. The 2024 team includes LCDR Amanda Lee who has made history as the first woman to serve as a jet demonstration pilot on the elite Blue Angels team. The Blues are a rich part of the Air Show’s history making their first Cleveland appearance in 1966, flying their F-11A Tigers.
