The AAA notes that the average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls region has reversed course. It went up nine cents from last week's cost to $3.76 per gallon.
Developer Doug Jemal has chosen Evolution Hospitality of San Clemente, California to handle bookings and provide management for two of his Buffalo hotels. Business First reporting that Jemal will use them when he reopens the hotel that is part of the Richardson Olmsted Complex and for when he completes his purchase of the Mansion on Delaware. Evolution Hospitality is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aimbridge Hospitality, which already handles bookings and more for Jemal's Hyatt Regency Buffalo.
East Buffalo businessman Omar Shaibi is seeking to add 8,000-square-feet to a former supermarket in the 800 block of Broadway. Business First says the intent is to bring a grocery store and restaurant to the site. The Buffalo Planning Board will review the proposal at its November 7th meeting.
