Amherst, N.Y. (WBEN) - After nearly 200 years of service, Denton Cottier and Daniels will be closing up shop soon. The piano store is holding a going out of business sale
Jim Trimper, Sr. bought the company in 1983 and passed away late last year. The Trimper siblings have been operating the store, but say the demand for pianos has not been the same, forcing them to end the store's operations.
The store's website says, "It has been an incredible honor for our family and out amazing team to bring music to the people of Western New York since 1827."
