Rob Jones

Audacy
Rob Jones is an Upstate South Carolina native, raised in Oconee County. He is a graduate of the Broadcasting program at Tri-County Technical College. He went on to study at Anderson University and at Texas Southern.
Rob started working in radio in 2006. He got his first paying gig in the industry in the upstate for Golden Corners Broadcasting in 2007. In 2009, he went to work for Sporting News Radio in Houston Texas. In that position as an Executive Producer he worked with luminaries of the sports media industry like Tim Brando, Steve Czaban, Sean Pendergast and others.
After a memorable stint there, Rob moved onto to work for Tim Brando in Shreveport, Louisiana when that show was distributed on XM's College Sports Nation.
After the stint with Tim Brando, Rob moved back to South Carolina and worked in radio again. He would leave the industry for an opportunity in the private sector.
After a couple of years out of the radio business, Rob missed the business and moved to Western Oklahoma to work for a group of stations there. He served as News and Sports Director for Omni Media. In 2019 , he would leave Oklahoma for Iowa. Rob would serve as News and Sports Director for a 7 station cluster in Fort Dodge owned by Alpha Media.
In the course of his career, Rob has covered major news and sports events. He has had work that has been distributed state and region wide in the Midwest. Rob said of accepting this position with Audacy Greenville " For so many years, I had to forge my career in other areas of the country. It is awesome to get to come home to the Upstate. I am overjoyed to be working back in my home area and being a part of a championship level team like Audacy Greenville. I am grateful for the opportunity, and I can't wait to help the team in any way possible".
Roger Davis

Audacy
Roger Davis is a veteran broadcaster with more than forty years experience in news gathering and reporting. He earned an English degree (BA) from West Texas A&M University with a minor in mass communication and has won regional Emmys and the DuPont-Columbia award as a television reporter, producer and anchorman in Atlanta. But Roger's success was founded years earlier right here in the Upstate while working as a "cub reporter" with some of the region's legendary broadcasters. (After early retirement Roger had returned to his hometown of Greenville to be closer to his family, especially his four grandchildren, but soon found that life without a deadline just wasn't the same. So he went back to work as a radio newsman, as it happened, just in time for Nine-Eleven. He is especially pleased with the opportunity at Entercom and WORD to be working with Lee Rogers, a former colleague and occasional competitor, but always a friend. Roger is a Hands-on-Greenville volunteer, a member of the vestry at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (where he also mows the lawn) and an incurable minor league baseball fan.)
Stacie Bartro

Stacie Bartro hails from the beautiful state of Maryland (home to the prettiest flag of all 50 states!) and made South Carolina her permanent home after graduating from Bob Jones University with a B.A. in Radio and Television Broadcasting and a minor in Psychology.
She’s been fortunate to be part of Upstate families’ lives for more than 20 years, beginning as a newsroom intern and board operator for WORD before landing her first on-air role as a local traffic reporter in 2000. In 2001, she joined Audacy (then Entercom) after a short stint as News Director for Barnstable’s Rock 101 WROQ.
Since then, Stacie has made several memorable stops along the way, including Star 103 — “The Best of the ’80s and More,” 106.3 The Walk — “For God and Country,” and Magic 98.9 — “Lite Rock Favorites.” She also opened her own small voice-over business before returning to her current role as a news reporter for News/Talk 98.9 WORD. Today, you can hear her on “The Charlie James Show” as Afternoon News Anchor.
Through it all, her husband John, of more than 25 years, has been her greatest supporter and encourager — not to mention a saint for patiently putting up with the many animals Stacie has “adopted” over the years.
